Actor and wife expecting a son

American actor Scott Wolf and his wife, reality TV star Kelley Limp are expecting their first child together, it has been revealed.

The 40-year-old former Party of Five heartthrob announced that he is set to become a first-time dad next spring, Access Hollywood reports.

Real Word: New Orleans cast member Kelley, 32, is said to be five months pregnant with a baby boy.

Commenting on his wife's pregnancy, Scott told Access Hollywood: "I can't wait. I truly cannot wait. I've been asking Kelley, 'At what point can the child truly live outside your body, because we should just go get him.' This whole nine month business seems way too long to wait to meet him."

The "very excited" parents-to-be tied the knot in May 2004.

Scott is best known for his roles in hit US TV shows Party of Five and Everwood.

Fellow Party of Five co-star, Lost actor Matthew Fox, has two children with wife of 17 years Margherita Ronchi, ten-year-old Kyle and seven-year-old Byron.
