Actress says motherhood is
Footballer's Wives star Zoe Lucker has admitted to feeling "overwhelmed" by motherhood, a month after giving birth to daughter Lilly Alabama.

In a recent interview with Hello magazine, the 34-year-old actress explained: "It's difficult to speak about these things without sounding like you are a gushing new mum, but it's overwhelming.

"You know what it feels like to love your family or friends or a man, but I am amazed by my capacity to love this child… The second she was born it was the most natural feeling in the world to want to love and protect her."

Zoe and fiance James Herbert welcomed their first baby together on September 2nd, seven months after announcing their engagement.

The celebrity mum revealed "huge respect" and admiration for single mothers, claiming the support of her long-term partner James through the pregnancy and early days of caring for their baby girl is "priceless".

As well as starring in hit ITV show Footballers' Wives, Zoe has also appeared in prison drama Bad Girls.
