Baby Shiloh 'most influential infant'

17 Dec 2007

Baby Shiloh
Shiloh Jolie-Pitt is the world's most influential infant on popular culture, it has emerged.

The one-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt topped a survey of the most influential Hollywood babies by Forbes magazine.

Internet coverage and press clippings were taken into account, in addition to rankings based on their appeal to consumers and the awareness of their profile among the public.

Pitt and Jolie, who starred together in acting roles for the hit film Mr and Mrs Smith, also emerged as having influential infants in Shiloh's adopted siblings Zahara and Pax who came third and fifth respectively.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' daughter Suri emerged second in the poll behind Shiloh, who made £2 million for charity when her parents sold their first pictures of the biological daughter last year.

Ok magazine's Sarah Ivens has commented on the increasing profile of celebrity children among the general public.

"We're now as fascinated to see Suri take off for Paris or Berlin in a little Burberry outfit as we are by what Scarlett Johansson is wearing," she commented.

Cruz and Romeo Beckham, sons of English football playing father David and pop singer Victoria came ninth and tenth in the list.
