Billie 'wants a water birth'

28 Jul 2008

Billie
Billie Piper wants to have a water birth in her own home when she has her baby, it has been revealed.

A friend of the Doctor Who actress told the Sunday Express that Billie and husband Laurence Fox have decided that their West Sussex home is the perfect place for the birth, reported Now magazine.

The pal explained: "Billie has been saying she doesn't want all the bright lights of a hospital and thinks a home birth in warm water would be a wonderfully calm way for her baby to come into the world."

This is the first child for Billie and Laurence, who tied the knot on New Year's Eve 2007.

Billie's ex-husband Chris Evans recently revealed that he is also about to become a parent again.

DJ Chris, who has a 21-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, announced that his golfer wife Natasha Shismanian was pregnant on his official blog, reported the BBC.

It's a great idea and would get my vote!
It's a good idea, but not a priority
Sharing a postnatal ward is safer if anything were to happen to you or your baby
Money should be spent on more midwives instead
It's unrealistic and would be a waste of money
