Charlotte Church gives birth to son
Welsh singer and chat show host Charlotte Church has given birth to her second child, a boy, at home yesterday (January 11th).

Born just after midnight in a birthing pool, the new addition will be a brother to the TV presenter’s first child, 16-month old Ruby.

A message on Charlotte's personal website said: "Charlotte has literally just this minute phoned us to let us know that she gave birth to a little boy yesterday.

She chose to give birth in a birthing pool at the farmhouse she shares with long-term partner Gavin Henson in the Vale of Glamorgan.

"He was born just after midnight at her and Gavin's home with Gavin in attendance at the birth."

The as yet un-named boy weighed in at 7lb 5oz and both mother and baby are "doing fine" according to a spokesperson.

A source close to the couple told the Daily Mail: "Charlotte is joking that she is one woman who is guaranteed to weigh less in January than she did at Christmas."

Charlotte was reportedly ten days overdue by the time she gave birth.
