Charlotte and Gavin have a "proper welcome party" for Ruby
Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson have had their nine-month-old daughter Ruby christened, reports the Daily Mail.

According to the newspaper, singer Charlotte decided a church blessing would be a "proper welcome party" for her daughter.

The 22-year-old star, who recently announced she is pregnant with her second child, chose the same priest who christened her as a baby, Father Christopher Delaney.

Ruby was brought into the church in a cot covered with a white blanket, the newspaper states, claiming that reporters were kept out of the event as the couple have signed a deal worth over £50,000 with a glossy magazine to cover the event.

After a ceremony with about 20 people, the Welsh couple held a party in a marquee at their Vale of Glamorgan home.

Now magazine recently claimed that Charlotte is hoping her next child is a boy because she wants Ruby to have a brother.
