Christina reveals new baby
Pop princess Christina Aguilera has given the world the first glimpse of her month old baby son.

The Genie in a Bottle singer showed off the newborn during a photo shoot and interview with celebrity magazine Hello!.

Named Max, the baby was born by Caesarean section in Los Angeles last month in the presence of its music producer father, Jordan Bratman.

Speaking during the interview, which is due to be published next week, the blonde 27-year-old said of Max: "We can't stop staring at him.

"We study him; he studies us back. It's an unbelievable experience, a beautiful time in our lives."

She added that she had opted for a C-section because she wanted him to be born into a peaceful environment.

Christina was recently named as the world's second most elegant woman in a list compiled by Hello! magazine – narrowly losing out to the queen of pop, Madonna.

It's a great idea and would get my vote!
It's a good idea, but not a priority
Sharing a postnatal ward is safer if anything were to happen to you or your baby
Money should be spent on more midwives instead
It's unrealistic and would be a waste of money
