Denise Lewis expecting third child
Olympic gold medallist Denise Lewis hasn't let pregnancy stop her from keeping fit, she has revealed.

The 36-year-old British athlete is currently expecting her third baby next month with husband, former All Saints manager Steve Finan and has managed to keep up an exercise regime throughout her pregnancy.

"I'm doing yoga to stay supple and help with my breathing during childbirth. I also do light cardio exercise in the gym," she explained.

Denise and Steve are already parents to two-year-old son Ryan and Denise's six-year-old daughter Lauryn from her previous relationship with Patrick Stevens.

Studies have shown that exercise during pregnancy is important for optimum physical and mental health.

Research suggests that staying active while pregnant can help prevent diabetes, high blood pressure and lower back problems as well as alleviate stress.

In 2000, Denise received an OBE for her contribution to British sport, after winning a gold medal at the Sydney Olympic Games.
