Emma Bunton 'in no hurry to lose baby weight'

18 Mar 2008

Emma Bunton
Spice Girl and new mum Emma Bunton has spoken out about her post birth fitness and weight loss plans as a celebrity figure in the public eye.

The 32-year-old singer gave birth to son Beau in August 2007, just four months before she embarked on the Spice Girls World Reunion tour.

Baby Spice claimed she took things more slowly than her fellow band mates when it came to getting back into shape after the birth of her baby.

She said: "I didn't feel any great pressure. It takes a while to lose the baby weight, but I didn't feel I had to starve myself. And obviously, going straight on tour hurried things along a bit!

"I breastfed for four months, which helped. I did everything in moderation. I went to the gym three times a week, not seven - being stuck on a running machine for hours on end is so dull."

Baby Beau is Emma's first child with boyfriend of eight years former Damage singer Jade Jones.
