First-time mum Tamzin Outhwaite goes back to work

Award-winning actress and new mum, Tamzin Outhwaite, has recently returned to work after giving birth to six-month-old daughter Florence.

The 38-year-old Hotel Babylon star welcomed her first baby with husband, EastEnders actor Tom Ellis in June of last year and admits that taking time off from her busy career to spend with her little girl "was a godsend".

"Tom and I both had a few months of not working and just being around her, which was just a godsend. Watching her in those stages, you can never get that back," she told the Essex Chronicle.

As for losing her post-pregnancy baby weight, Tamzin intends to take things "really slowly", preferring to spend as much time as she can with baby Florence than slogging away at the gym.

"I possibly haven't given myself the amount of pressure I should have done, but I didn’t want to stop hanging out with my daughter because I was too busy at the gym," she added.
