Golfer Justin Rose to become a father
English golfer Justin Rose's wife Kate is reportedly expecting the couple's first baby.

According to the Daily Mail, the delighted Ryder Cup star's strong performance at Valhalla last month may well have been due to his recent good news.

Glamorous blonde Kate Rose is a former international gymnast and has been married to South Africa-born Justin since 2006.

She left her job as a PA after the wedding and the couple now travel together on the golf tour circuit.

Justin and Kate, who divide their time between London and Florida, are expecting their new baby to arrive in February 2009.

Rose, 28, completed his Ryder Cup debut for Europe two weeks ago in Kentucky and is now preparing for the next tournament in Wales in 2010.

The golfer is determined to help Europe reclaim the cup following defeat in Valhalla, stating: "I will certainly be trying my hardest … to secure my spot on the team as soon as possible."
