Helena Bonham Carter names baby girl Nell
After eight months of speculation, actress Helena Bonham Carter has revealed the name of her second child with long-term partner director Tim Burton.

In an interview with the Jewish Journal, the 42-year-old celebrity mum confirmed that the couple's baby girl had been named Nell.

Born in December, Nell is named after "all the Helens in the family", Helena explained.

The London-born actress' mother was called Elena and her maternal grandmother, who was Jewish, was named Helene.

"I feel quite atavistic in the sense that I want them to know where they come from," the actress maintained.

After the birth, reports suggested that the couple had decided on the name Indiana Rose.

The couple are also parents to four-year-old son Billy Ray and have been together since they met on the set of Planet of the Apes in 2001. The family live in London's Belsize Park in two adjoining houses, each decorated according to Helena's and Tim's individual tastes.
