Ioan Gruffudd: We're trying to get pregnant

Fantastic Four star Ioan Gruffudd and his actress wife Alice Evans are reportedly trying for their first baby.

According to new reports, the celebrity couple are ready to start a family after a year of marital bliss.

"We've been married for a year now, so the next step is starting a family, putting down roots. We are trying to get pregnant," the 35-year-old Welsh actor told the Wales on Sunday.

"I'm busy doing up the house, creating a nest. I am blessed that I don't have to work. I thought I'd go stir crazy, but it's amazing how you evolve. Life is wonderful here. I wake up with a smile on my face, potter around the garden, getting things framed. Just living life really. Perhaps for the first time."

Ioan and Alice, who currently live in Los Angeles, married in Mexico in September 2007 after more than six years together. They met on the set of Disney movie 102 Dalmatians back in 2000.
