Javine talks birthing pools and baby changes

New parents Javine Hylton and partner MC Harvey have revealed their thoughts on the arrival of their two-week-old daughter Angel.

Speaking to Hello! magazine this week, 26-year-old singer Javine commented on her decision to give birth to her first child in water at London's Birth Centre.

"I enjoyed being in the birthing pool - just me with the midwife reading her book in the corner," she told the magazine.

Javine gave birth to baby Angel on 23 February, weighing a healthy 9lbs.

Commenting on the changes being a new mum has had on the star, she said: "I was a wild child before and a bit manic. But the baby has settled me right down. I've taken a 180-degree turn in every way.

"I don't think I embraced pregnancy as some women do. I hadn't prepared myself mentally for all the changes."

Winner of Channel 4's The Games, Javine is due to release her second solo album in April.
