Lance Armstrong and girlfriend expecting first child
Seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong is set to become a dad for the fourth time, it has been revealed.

The 37-year-old American cyclist recently announced that his girlfriend Anna Hansen is expecting their first baby together next year.

Confirming the happy news, Lance said: "Anna and I are thrilled to confirm that we are expecting in June and our families are ecstatic and grateful.

"We are very much looking forward to what 2009 brings on many fronts. We appreciate respecting our privacy, as we are both eager to celebrate the holidays as a family."

In July, Lance will take part in the 2009 Tour de France, one month after the baby's due date.

Lance has three children from his previous marriage, son Luke, nine, and seven-year-old twin girls Isabelle and Grace.

According to reports, the baby was conceived naturally after it was thought Lance would be unable to father more children following treatment for testicular cancer.
