Louise and Jamie Redknapp's surprise conception
23 Jul 2008Former popstar Louise Redknapp and her husband Jamie were surprised that they conceived their second child so quickly.
Louise revealed in an interview with Hello! that she thought it would take a long time to become pregnant again after medical complications he experienced before she had her first son.
She went through two operations after back pain was diagnosed as endometriosis, which can cause women to have fertility problems.
The TV presenter took four years to become pregnant for the first time and expected a similar situation this time around.
However, the Redknapps conceived after a month of trying and are now looking forward to welcoming baby number two in November this year.
Louise told Hello: "We just assumed that, because of what we went through before, we'd be trying for at least a year."
"Four weeks later there I am pregnant! We did eight tests altogether - just to make sure!"
Louise and 35-year-old Jamie welcomed their first son Charley in 2004.
