Milla delivers baby girl

Fifth Element actress and supermodel Milla Jovovich has given birth to her first child with fiance, director Paul Anderson.

The 31-year-old beauty welcomed daughter Ever Gabo Anderson on Saturday, who weighed in at a healthy 7lbs 8oz.

A spokesperson announced: "Parents and baby are doing fine."

Milla recently commented on her website that the baby was "already a strapping 7.4 pounds! Completely full term, totally healthy and ready to be born".

Baby Ever was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles one day before the due date.

A known smoker, the actress credits giving up cigarettes for her pregnancy weight gain after putting on approximately 70 pounds.

She said: "It's just that food tastes so darn good when you don't deaden your taste buds with tobacco. I feel like I discovered some ancient secret of life and happiness or something."

However, baby weight doesn't bother Milla, who likes to keep fit by practicing martial arts such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, yoga and meditation.
