New baby makes celebrity chef feel
TV chef Jean-Christophe Novelli has revealed his joy at the recent birth of his newborn son.

The 46-year-old French chef welcomed his first child with fiancée Michelle Kennedy, 32, in Los Angeles last week.

Jean-Christophe is already a dad to 20-year-old daughter Christina from his previous marriage.

"It's definitely the best time of my life," he told Hello! magazine. It's very special. I feel like I've been asleep and now I'm alive again."

He added: "As soon as he can walk, he's going to be playing golf, tennis, swimming, everything. He will be cooking alongside me, of course, but what he decides to do will be his choice."

The proud parents announced their engagement in November last year, after two years together.

In 2005, Jean-Christophe featured in reality TV cooking show Hell's Kitchen, made famous by fellow celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
