Pete Wentz's relies on fatherhood advice book

07 Jul 2008

Pete Wentz
Fall Out Boy member Pete Wentz has revealed how he is relying on a parent advice book to feel closer to his unborn child.

Pete, who is married to singer Ashlee Simpson, told People magazine that The Expectant Father by Armin Brott tells him exactly what to expect with his wife's moods week-by-week.

It also advises fathers-to-be to talk to their baby, he added, explaining: "The Expectant Father tells you that the woman, when she speaks, the baby hears her all the time. And the father's voice isn't familiar unless you talk about it, so I talk to it all the time."

Pete revealed that Ashlee has been craving ice-cream, pickles and green olives, but said that the pregnancy is "going well" overall.

A salesperson from baby boutique Petit Tresor recently told CelebTV.com that the couple had filled in a registry for items which were nearly all blue, sparking rumours that they are expecting a boy.
