Pregnancy inspired J Lo to enter triathlon

New mum Jennifer Lopez has revealed that being pregnant with twins inspired her to take part in a triathlon, reports claim.

The 39-year-old singer and actress is currently training for a triathlon scheduled for September 14th in Malibu, just six months after giving birth to fraternal twins Max and Emme.

"I thought, 'What can I do to make my babies proud?' I think about what they'll think about the year they were born: who I was and what I did," she told Self magazine.

"It's important to me to set examples for them, I want to lead with my life, I want to say, 'You should do this because I've done it, and I know it makes you a better person and it makes you feel great and sleep better and be happier'."

J Lo is training in swimming, cycling and running for the event which will raise money for the Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

Babies Max and Emme are Jen's first children with husband Marc Anthony.
