Rosario Dawson talks babies

American actress Rosario Dawson has expressed plans to start a family in the near future, so that her children are able to know her mother and grandmother.

According to Celebrity Baby Blog, in a recent interview with Latina magazine, Rosario explained that the realisation that her own mother and grandmother are "getting older" has made her think about having children of her own more seriously.

The 29-year-old Death Proof star told Latina: "I always wanted to adopt kids 'cause my Dad adopted me. That idea has stayed in the back of my head, but lately, I've been thinking about it more.

"It struck me recently that one day I might be sitting around with my children, going, 'Your grandmother was an amazing woman; I really wish you could've known her.' That makes me sad because it would be a waste not to have these people know each other. Whatever time I have, I want it."

Rosario previously dated Sex and the City star Jason Lewis for two years.
