Sandi Thom feeling broody

Scottish singer-songwriter Sandi Thom recently revealed her desire to have a baby, according to the Daily Record.

The 27-year-old songstress said that after spending time with her boyfriend's baby nephew she feels ready to start a family of her own.

"I wouldn't mind if, in the next year, I ended up falling pregnant," she told the newspaper. "The prospect of having a child is there and I am happy with it...28 is a sensible age to have a baby."

Following the huge success of her debut album, Smile… It Confuses People, which debuted at number one in the UK chart, Sandi released her second album The Pink & The Lily in May this year.

Sandi's boyfriend of three years Jake Field plays the keyboards in her band and also co-produced her first two albums.

As a solo artist, the young musician has sold more than a million albums worldwide.
