Second multiple birth for shocked Essex mum
13 Nov 2008A mother of twins from Essex was shocked to find that she was carrying triplets in her third pregnancy, according to the Telegraph.
PE teacher, 38-year-old Joadey Dryer found out that she is expecting three babies, two of which are identical twins, in the New Year.
Ms Dryer is already mum to 14-year-old twin girls and a nine-year-old daughter.
"It was a bit of a shock that I was pregnant, let alone pregnant with three babies. But it's a nice shock and the family are all really excited," she told the Telegraph.
"I'm eating for a small village at the moment and I've already put on two stone. Once Christmas comes and we find out what sex they are it will be easier to start planning."
According to experts, late 30s is the prime time to expect a multiple birth, as after the age of 34 on average, women tend to produce more eggs.
