Stella McCartney has baby boy

Celebrity fashion designer Stella McCartney has given birth to her third child with husband furniture company CEO Alasdhair Willis, reports have revealed.

The 36-year-old mother of two welcomed the arrival of her second son Beckett Robert Lee on Tuesday - a week later than expected.

Baby Beckett will join older siblings two-year-old Miller Alasdhair James and one-year-old Bailey Linda Olwyn.

News of the pregnancy was announced in July and received a warm response from grandfather former Beatles star Sir Paul McCartney, who is currently going through a very public divorce from second wife Heather Mills.

A source told the Daily Mirror: "Paul loves having family around him. It's been what has been getting him through the tough times. He would be overjoyed by a new addition."

Meanwhile, Stella's exclusive collection for lingerie brand Bendon is due to be launched this month and includes luxury pieces available in a range of the designer's signature colours.
