Supermodel welcomes baby girl
Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio gave birth to her first child last weekend in her home country Brazil.

The 27-year-old beauty and boyfriend Jamie Mazur welcomed baby girl, Anja Louise, on Sunday, weighing 6.3lbs.

According to People magazine, proud new mum Alessandra said her newborn is "absolutely perfect" and that "she hasn't cried once except for a second when they pulled her out".

"We have now felt a new kind of love and joy that we never knew existed," she gushed.

The supermodel has worked the runways of top fashion designers such as Christian Dior, Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta and Calvin Klein.

Latest celebrity rumours suggest that Alessandra has been offered various magazine deals for the exclusive first photos of baby Anja.

Celebrity baby photos are big business nowadays, with Brangelina earning a huge $14 million for images of their newborn twins.

Alessandra is reportedly keen to get back in shape in time for the next Victoria's Secret fashion show in November.
