Working mums to be celebrated by prestigious awards
The fourth annual mother@work awards are now open to entries, supported by president of PiggyBankKids and wife of the Prime Minister Sarah Brown.

Award categories include employer of the future, best people manager, best mumpreneur, best family support and most exceptional working mother.

The prizes will be awarded at a prestigious event at No 11 Downing Street on June 18th, with all shortlisted entrants receiving an invite to a reception at Downing Street.

The awards are created to recognise and celebrate all aspects of working motherhood, from single working mums to understanding employers.

"Many working mums are often wrongly assumed to lose their ambition, determination and drive when they return to work," according to mother@work.

"The success of many of these women in setting up and running successful businesses is a wake up call to industry that experience and talent doesn't desert you the moment you become a mother."
