Motherhood 'easy and natural' for Laila Ali

29 Oct 2008

Motherhood
Former super middleweight champion, Laila Ali, has opened up about how she has settled into motherhood after the birth of her first child two months ago.

The 30-year-old daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali welcomed son Curtis Junior on August 26th, with husband of one year, NFL player Curtis Conway.

Since the birth, Laila revealed that life as a new mum has been an "easy and natural transition", but admitted that all her time is spent feeding.

Laila has taken time out from her busy working schedule to devote 100% of her time to her new arrival.

Writing on her blog, she said: "I am not a woman who easily parts with her baby. I do not look forward to the day I have to separate from him or get some help from a sitter... In fact, I have anxiety about it.

"I now know why some women quit their jobs and become stay-at-home moms!"

The new mum announced the pregnancy back in May, 10 months after her marriage to second husband Curtis.
