Grey's Anatomy star reveals pregnancy

American actress Chyler Leigh has revealed that she is currently pregnant with her third child.

A representative for the Grey's Anatomy star told People magazine: "They are absolutely thrilled and looking forward to the new addition to their young family."

The 26-year-old actress married actor and musician Nathan West in 2002 after two years of dating. The proud parents already have two kids together, five-year-old son Noah and two-year-old daughter Taelyn.

Chyler joined the cast of popular ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy last year, as Lexie Grey, Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) half-sister, to become a regular cast member in series four.

She has also starred in films including Not Another Teen Movie, as well as TV series' The Practice, Girls Club and That 80s Show.

In 2002, Chyler was voted into the Maxim Hot 100 Women list.

Meanwhile, co-star Ms Pompeo married record producer Chris Ivery in November last year.
