What's happening this month...

Your baby

Your little one is starting to enjoy a wider range of foods. They may stand unaided for a few seconds and are starting to develop a sense of humour. You’ll also start to see that they need less sleep during the day.

Around this time babies' memories start to get better and you could find them imitating actions from as long as a week ago!

You

Try not to worry if your baby doesn’t reach developmental milestones at the same time as your friends’ babies. All babies are different, but if you are really concerned, speak to your GP.

9 months old and very small

my little girl is 9 months old and has failed to gain weight since birth, recently admitted to hospital but still no real explenation. i have 5 other children who were all fine so know something not right. she is in 3 - 6 months clothes, size 2 nappies and weighs only 12.5 lbs. is this normal?

standing

my baby is almost 9 months old and refuses to stand even when im holding her up. She seems to not want to stand, she has a chair that she pushes around the floor on so her legs are strong but is this normal for a baby to not want to stand or push up on her legs at this age.

Jess

my little boy is 9months and is breastfed and doesnt really know how to use his beaker as his never had a bottle, so when he drinks out of his beaker he has a few sips then spits the rest out .. anyone elses little one do this?

feeding time

have u tryed with putting some finger foods on his tray? when its meal time?i did that with my daughter because she was fussy and when she opened her mouth to put the finger foods in i put a bit purees on her spoon and put it in before she got her finger food in.

finger food

I am confused about what size of food to give my 9 month old. He has very little interest in eating and tends to cry at meal times over everything, need advice please. He tends to be sick or choke on everything but then sometimes he manages fine. The only things he will eat are yoghurts, fromage frais, carrot, veg purees.

Baby Drinking

Do u know how much water that babies need every day and any one tried babies ready_made juices what u can say about it, it is good?
