You won't believe it when holding your newborn, but in just four months your baby will be kicking, wriggling - even crawling. So ensure she's wearing a comfortable nappy, like Pampers Active Fit with Comfort Stretch.
Baby Yoga
Here's a great way to encourage your baby's movement skills. You can start these exercises when she reaches 4 months old. Baby yoga aids neural development, motor skills, balance and digestion - as well as encouraging a deeper bond. She'll also sleep at night as the yoga will make her tired.

- a) Kneel on the floor with your baby on her back, facing you. Holding her calves, bend her knees towards her tummy. Hold for a few seconds then release.
Repeat three times. - b) Gently move her bent knee in a circular, clockwise motion so her thighs massage her tummy.
- c) Keeping her knees bent and holding your baby's buttocks for extra support, gently roll her from side to side.
Lauging monkey - Encourages neural development and motor skills
- a) With your baby lying on the floor facing you, pick up an opposing hand and foot, and bring them towards each other three times.
- b) Rotate her hand and foot around each other slowly one way, then the other to stimulate her brain.
- c) Gently wrap her arm and leg around her body. Hold for five seconds.
- d) Repeat all three steps with your baby's other arm and leg.
The rolling club - Assists coordination and balance
- a) Sit on the floor with your baby between your legs, her back to you. Roll her arms around each other three times, then hug them around her chest.
- b) Roll her arms three more times, taking them out to the side to open up her chest. Then bring her arms to the floor. Your baby should instinctively lean forward.
- c) Sit her up and raise her arms. If your baby is ready, she'll stand up.
- d) Try this exercise with her legs to encourage your baby's hip mobility.
The dreamy giraffe - Pefect for winding down
- a) Put your baby on her back on the floor. Lie sideways next to her. Put a reassuring hand on her chest.
- b) Focus on your breathing and rest for 10 minutes. The more relaxed you are, the relaxed she'll be.
