As summer approaches, celebrities are certainly feeling more inclined to add a splash of colour to their red carpet outfits - and actress Gillian Anderson certainly led the way at the 2010 Laurence Olivier Awards in March.
The actress wore a stunning low-cut burnt orange gown, which had long sleeves to avoid the crossover from classy to trashy. While many redheads may steer clear of orange shades, the tone complemented her skin and hair perfectly. The dress was long and reached right to the floor, giving the outift a regal feel.
She accessorised the dress with a gold clutch to make the colour pop and wore her hair in a style favoured by many red carpet walkers - down, with natural-looking waves and texture.
Gillian, who is most famous for playing Agent Dana Scully in The X Files, has three children, Piper, Oscar and Felix.
