What is a Child Trust Fund?
The Child Trust Fund (CTF) is about your child and their future. It's about giving your child an 18th birthday present that could help give them a flying start to their adult life.
- Once you've registered for Child Benefit, the government will send you a Child Trust Fund voucher for £250 to invest for your baby.
- You, your friends and family can then add to the CTF account up to a combined total of £1,200 a year between you.
