How Not to Live Your Life (BBC Two, Times vary)
What's It All About? This little-known sitcom, telling the story of neurotic twenty something singleton Don Danbury (played by Dan Clark) is now on its second series.
Based on the short Paramount Comedy skits Dan Clark's Guide to Dating and Dan Clark's Guide to Working, the character of Don often drifts off into dream sequences where he imagines what he would really like to say or do in any given situation - a clear throwback to the short sketches that inspired the series.
Look Out For: Laura Haddock, who plays Don's new flatmate Samantha. She is fast shaping up to be one of the best things about the sitcom as, unlike Sinead Moynihan as Abby from series one, who seemed stuck with the job of playing straight man to Don, Samantha has equal footing as a comic lead, making for a generally funnier show.
Dan says: "I think the second series definitely goes up a gear, it's faster, and it's funnier. The great thing about getting recommissioned is that you can focus on all the good things from the first series, all the things I think worked."
