Celebrity bump and baby news

Sir Elton John could soon be taking the title of his 2012 collaborative album, Good Morning to the Night, quite literally, with a new baby on the way.

Elton and his long-time love, David Furnish will welcome a new addition to their family, after the arrival of Zachary by a surrogate nearly two years ago.

The couple, who made their union official with a civil partnership in 2005, could look to Elton's real name, Reginald Kenneth Dwight, for inspiration, or take the title from his 2006 album, The Captain and the Kid.

Or for a Beckham-inspired name, the duo could name the little chap or bambino Encino, after the area in California where the new addition is expected to be born.

A source close to the couple spoke out about the surrogate, who also gave birth to little Zachary: "Elton and David love this lady like a sister and they feel indebted to her for life."

Also expecting

Peaches Geldof, 23, has admitted that she had a "momentary panic" when she found out she was pregnant for the second time, six months after giving birth to Astala in April this year.

Always the one to be labelled with a wild-child reputation, following the death of her mother Paula Yates, from an accidental overdose in 2000, reformed Peaches has shown her motherly instinct in a host of celeb pictures since her first bundle-of joy arrived.

She is expecting a boy and plans to call him Phaedra.

In an interview with Hello! Magazine, she said: "It's a name that comes from an ancient Greek play. But it also features in a song Tom and I both love called Some Velvet Morning by Lee Hazlewood."

New arrivals

On the other side of the pond, actress Elizabeth Bank got in plenty of practice in with her latest film, What to Expect When You're Expecting. Elizabeth welcomed a baby boy Magnus Mitchell Handelman, by a surrogate, just in time for Thanksgiving.
