Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom's wife Miranda Kerr is reportedly pregnant with the couple's first child.

The 33-year-old actor tied the knot with the model in an intimate ceremony last week. They first met at a Victoria's Secret lingerie fashion show in New York in 2006.

An insider told Us Weekly that Miranda "is definitely pregnant...she's thrilled". The source added: "She's telling all her friends, mostly other models, about it."

American actress Christina Applegate has revealed that her pregnancy has "made her a little cuckoo".

The star appeared on the US talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live, wearing a sweatshirt stuffed under her dress to stress on her pregnancy. According to her, it would be more exciting for the audience to see a baby bump.

Talking on the show, she said: "Everything you read in the baby books, I've got. The cravings, the morning sickness, the psychosis.

"You kind of go a little cuckoo. Yelling for no reason, that kind of thing."

The 38-year-old actress, who survived breast cancer, recently announced that she is expecting her first child.

 

 

American singer-songwriter Katy Perry, who recently got engaged to comedian Russell Brand, thinks that her fiance will be a "perfect baby daddy".

Speaking about her wedding and family plans with Russell in an interview on YouTube, Katy said: "We are excited to get married, of course. And I think, in marriage, when you're picking a partner, one of the things to keep in mind is 'Will he be a good baby daddy?' And he'll be perfect."

 

 

Lending a helping hand to her gay friends, Katie Price has offered to be a surrogate mother for them, it has been reported.

According to a report in Now Magazine, the businesswoman and former glamour model intends to help make-up artist Gary Cockerill and his partner Phill Turner start a family.

Gary said: "Kate has told me and my partner Phill that if we were ever in a position to have children, then she would be a surrogate mother for us. She really means it!

'I'm not sure how it would work - perhaps we could give her a cocktail and just see what happens! It's something we often think about."
