Skins (Channel 4, 11.10pm)
What's It All About? The second generation of characters take their bow in tonight's finale and after Freddie's brutal death at the hands of Effy's mad psychologist in last week's episode, it would be nice, albeit unlikely, if there was to be a happy ending in store for this collection of colourful characters.
Tonight's episode sees Cook frantically trying to find out what has become of Freddie. The tearaway teen is at large after escaping from police custody and, despite the threat of being sent to prison if he's caught, Cook comes out of hiding to find his friend.
Look Out For: The climactic scenes in which Cook confronts Effy's psychologist, John Foster (Hugo Speer), after discovering Freddie's blood-stained clothes.Jack O'Connell's performance is impressive to say the very least, while Speer is brilliantly creepy as the disturbed shrink.
Luke Pasqualino says: "It's a lot more intense this series. The progression in terms of the actors and storylines has come so far since series three and I think the audience is in for a real treat. I hope it pleases everyone.
"I really enjoyed it [filming] and I think everyone felt a bit more confident within themselves because we now have the experience to get the job done but everyone enjoyed it and we had four new directors as well as new producers."
