Set up in 1991 to help relieve the financial burden of bone marrow testing and transplants. Founded in the memory of a young child with leukaemia who faced difficulties finding a suitable donor, the charity has gone from strength to strength and helped double the size of the bone marrow donor register
Due to the success of unrelated donor transplants, CWLT has turned its attention to help relieve the long waiting lists for operations for patients who previously would have had little chance of surviving.
