Represents 1,800 acupuncturists who have an extensive training in acupuncture and the western medical sciences appropriate to the practice of acupuncture. Members practise a recognised and traditional style of diagnosis and treatment therapy.
The BAcC believes that anyone who wishes to provide acupuncture treatment should undertake an extensive training of at least two years full-time (or the part-time equivalent) irrespective of their prior western medical training.
Look for the letters MBAcC after the practitioner's name.
