Q2. What should I do if I have collected an affected pack?

A parent contacted our customer service email address to alert us to the issue.

Q4. Which store has the affected packs?
The incident was recorded from a pack collected from Superdrug.
The Growing Family Pack has been recalled by us as a precautionary measure from our retail partners.

Q5. Who is recalling the product?
The Growing Family Pack is being recalled by Bounty as a precautionary measure.

Q6. Why is Bounty recalling the pack?
It’s been brought to our attention that there’s been an isolated incident where a HiPP Organic Apple, Pear & Banana pouch (100g) included in our Growing Family Pack has passed its best before end date due to an error at our packing facility.

Q7. How do I get a replacement pack?
If you collected a Growing Family Pack from any of our retail partners after 10th October 2016 and you find that the HiPP Organic Apple, Pear & Banana pouch (100g) is out of date, you can obtain a new Bounty Growing Family Pack.

Simply post the Bounty Growing Family Pack containing the out of date HiPP product to us and we will send you a replacement pack in late January, when we can be sure that stocks are replenished following the recall. We will also reimburse any P&P cost involved with sending your Growing Family Pack back to Bounty.

Please address and return the pack to the following:
Growing Family Pack Return, Bounty (UK) Limited, 29 Broadwater Road, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, AL7 3BQ.

Q8.  Are any other products affected?
No other products contained in the Bounty Growing Family Pack are affected.

Q9. How has this happened?
Here at Bounty we have strict guidelines to ensure a suitable shelf life for the products that we give away in our sample packs. The fault has occurred due to an error at our packing facility.

Q10. What action(s) has been taken?
We have withdrawn all Bounty Growing Family Packs that could potentially be affected with immediate effect and supply will not resume until the issue has been completely resolved. Please be assured that we are fully investigating this matter and have initiated procedures to ensure it does not happen again.

Q11. What should I do if I have used a potentially affected pouch already?
We would like to assure you that this is an isolated incident and the recall is a precautionary measure. However, should you have any concerns, we would recommend you consult your local health care professional for advice.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and if you have any further questions, please email growingfamilypack@bounty.com.
