What the A-listers are calling their little ones

We all love a good old celebrity baby name.

And in some cases take inspiration from what A-listers have called their little ones.

When they aren’t too weird of course…

So far this year there’s been lots of celebrity baby names to pick from, some we love and others we’re not quite sure about.

Top on the list for inspiration is of course Holly Willoughby’s choice of Chester for her baby boy. Sharing the name with Davina McCall’s little one, this moniker is perfect for those of us looking for a place inspired name.

Next on our celebrity baby names list is hot Hollywood couple Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling who named their beautiful little girl Esmeralda.

According to reports the pair chose the moniker because Eva wanted to link her daughter’s name to her Cuban family heritage.

However, when we first heard this name we though Disney’s Esmeralda and this got us thinking about Disney inspired baby names – here’s some of our best picks.

And that brings us nicely onto another Hollywood couple – this time Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher who went for a unisex inspired name for their little girl Wyatt, following in the footsteps of celebs before them.

Boho style queen Sienna Miller, plumped for the androgynous name choice of Marlowe for her baby girl and let’s not forget Harper Beckham!

Fancy something similar? Check out our great unisex names options.

And from the unisex to the godlike, with Kelly Rowland literally making us shout ‘OMG’ with her choice of the name Titan for her little boy.

She said that the name, which is inspired by the Ancient Greek Gods, was picked out by her other half and was also ‘to do with family.’

Other celebrity baby names that we felt deserved a mention were Bunny – the moniker Katie Price gave to her little girl – you can copy this animal inspired name here (link to animal inspired names), while in February Simon Cowell announced he had called his son Eric after his father…awww.

Other slightly stranger names in the celebrity baby names list this year include Bear – Kate Winslet’s choice for her little boy, while Gwen Stafani’s choice of Zuma Nesta Rock for her little boy left us a little bit flummoxed.

Each to their own…
