American actress and singer Hilary Duff has announced that her fourth baby has arrived.
The star took to her Instagram to share the news that her daughter was born on 3rd May.
She announced the news to her 26.9 million followers with some beautiful black and white photos.
The photos showed the newborn shortly after the birth and Hilary was seen pictured meeting her new daughter while still sat in the birthing pool.
Hilary also took the opportunity to share the unique name chosen for her daughter.
She captioned the post: “Townes Meadow Bair, now we know why she made us wait so long…She was perfecting those Cheeks!
“I Have been dreaming of holding you in my arms for months and the past 5 days of getting to know you, stare at you and smell you has been pure moments of magic. We all love you like you’ve been here all along beauty.
“5/3/24.”
Celebrity friends rushed to the post to gush over the newborn:
American singer-songwriter Lea Michele wrote: “Welcome beautiful little girl.”
While actress Vanessa Hudgens added: “Townes you are the cutest and coolest already.”
Fans were also quick to gush over the new arrival.
One wrote: “Congratulations to you all! She’ absolutely beautiful!”
Another shared: “So happy for you! Congrats to you all!”
While a third penned: “Congratulations to you and the family!”
Hilary is also mum to son Luca Cruz, 12, from her first marriage to Mike Comrie and daughters Banks Violet, 5, and Mae James, 3, with her now husband Matthew Koma.
