Pop star Meghan Trainor shares news of baby's arrival and retro name choice

The All About the Bass singer has shared the exciting news of the arrival of her second child, a baby boy with her husband Daryl Sarbara.
The 29 year old star took to her Instagram on Tuesday to share pictures of her new arrival with her 17.7 million followers.
She shared a selection of images including a black and white snap of herself smiling as she looks at her newborn.
In the collection of photos family were also pictured cuddling her new son and Meghan can also be seen cuddling the new arrival to her cheek as she smiles with her eyes closed.
Alongside the sweet images, Meghan shared with fans her retro baby name for her little one.
She told her followers: “On July 1st (our 7 year anniversary of our first date) we welcomed Barry Bruce Trainor into the world.”
She continued: “He was a big boy at 8lbs 7oz...and sideways (transverse), but we had an amazing, successful c-section, and I finally got my skin to skin time! Thank you to all of the incredible doctors and nurses who took such great care of us.”
Celebrity friends rushed to the post to share their congratulations with the couple, with This Is Us star Chrissie Metz commenting: “Awww, congratulations!!!!!”
While fellow This Is Us actress Mandy Moore writing: “Go Mama!! And welcome to the party, Barry!! What a lucky dude!!”
Socialite Paris Hilton also shared her congratulations, she wrote: “Congratulations sis! So happy for you!”
Meghan and husband Daryl married in 2018 and welcomed their first child together, Riley in 2021.
