Former TOWIE favourite Georgia Kousoulou has shared the exciting news she is expecting a ‘rainbow’ baby in December this year.
The reality star revealed the news to her 1.5 million followers and shared a heartfelt video of her IVF journey.
Following a devastating miscarriage last year, the 32-year-old opened up to fans about her IVF journey in the video along with her scans and even her gender reveal.
With clips including Georgia giving herself injections, having IVF treatment right through to bursting a balloon revealing the couple are expecting a girl at the end of the year.
She captioned the touching video: “Our little rainbow baby due December.
“Words can’t express the emotions we have, we have prayed, wished & with a little help it’s happened.”
She continued with a heartfelt thanks to the team who helped her journey.
She wrote: “I can’t thank my team enough Rehan Salim you are the best IVF specialist - I’m so blessed we met you & Michelle my amazing nurse who helped me every step of the way!”
She went on: “These guys made my experience with IVF so much better than I could of even imagined & thank you to our Michaela for being there through it all.
“I was so scared as all the things I had heard beforehand but they were simply the best & held my hand the whole way through thank you for giving us the best gift of all.”
Georgia also shared a message to others in a similar situation: “To anyone watching who is suffering I am with you & I know how you feel. I pray this post doesn’t trigger you. I know how hard it is seeing announcements.
“Please know you are not alone & please don’t give up hope.”
The post attracted over 90,000 likes in only half an hour with celebrity fans rushing to congratulate the star.
Presenter Stacey Dooley shared four red hearts, while fellow reality star Vicky Pattison wrote: “Wonderful news mate, congratulations.”
Fans were also quick to share their congratulations.
One wrote: “This video brought back so many memories, but now I think “god bless the broken road that lead me straight to you” our little rainbow babies are so worth the wait congratulations to you all.”
Georgia and Tommy are expecting their first daughter together in December and already share 3-year-old son Brody together.
