You’re a first time mum if…
…any of these sound like you
- * take endless pictures?
- * check your baby every 5 minutes?
Being a first time mum is such a wonderful new experience as well as a huge learning curve.
Of course none of us wants to be condescending or judgemental (we’re all just doing our best right?!) yet these are a few tongue-in-cheek things that second-time mums say they do differently after their first-born.
…You read all the books on pregnancy and parenting
Second time around: You are just kind of winging it and at best, message a friend to check or remind you of something.
…You create a mood board and design a nursery the Ideal Home Show would be jealous of
Second time around: A couple of new cushion should refresh it enough
…You have a baby book marking every milestone your baby has reached
Second time around: Well…it’s just all a bit of a blur…oops!
…You disturb your baby’s sleep on average 36 times a night by just having to check they are still breathing
Second time around: A sleeping baby? Never disturb a sleeping baby!
…Every slightest milestone appears on Facebook with obligatory: ‘Proud mama look what he can do now!’ #lovehimsomuch #babygenius
Second time around: No time for regular Facebook updates.
